*Date/Time Issued: *September 16, 2014 2300 UTC*
Product(s) or Data Impacted:*Any products using NOAA-19 SBUV data
*Date/Time of Initial Impact:*September 17, 2014(J-day 260) 1647 UTC
*Date/Time of Expected End:*N/A
*Length of Outage: *N/A
*Details/Specifics of Change:***NOAA-19 SBUV Routine Operations
schedule
is being modified at the request of Matt DeLand (NASA, SBUV Expert) and
Larry Flynn (NOAA, SBUV Expert).
17 Sep 2014 (14/260) at 16:47 UTC, a sequence of activities will
execute
to perform discrete solar measurement at Mg II wavelengths.During this
activity, the SBUV will read memory from Flex 1 Segment 1.The diffuser
will be placed into sun position for 128 seconds and then placed back
into stow position. The activity completes by setting Flex 1 Segment 0
memory as the active memory to use in Discrete Mode.
This new SBUV sequence will execute every day on the 9^th orbit; 1
minute after the Northern Terminator Crossing.
The weekly Thursday sequence using sweep mode (19SBVSSE) has been
removed from the SBUV routine operations.
