This will be done for a trial period of one month, after which, unless differently announced it is foreseen that the HRV upper window movement will be applied operationally. METEOSAT RSS 18 November 2014 09:00 UTC - 20 November 2014 09:00 UTC Monthly RSS interruption Meteosat-9 Rapid Scanning Service (RSS) will be suspended for scheduled Full Earth Scanning and Ground Segment Maintenance. Meteosat-8 RSS image data, rectified to 9.5 deg E, replaces the Meteosat-9 service. The RSS meteorological product service is not available during this timeframe. An outage of 15 minutes (or slightly more) can be expected when switching to and from Meteosat-8. The dissemination time will change from around 09:00 - 14:00 UTC to around 18:00 - 21:00 UTC starting on 20 November 2014.
