At present, no root cause has been identified and the delay continues to reoccur almost daily between the hours noted above. At present, this issue is expected to continue indefinitely until the root cause of the data transfer delay is determined and resolved. This notification serves as a standing notification for all current users of GCOM data to continue to expect ongoing delays between the hours of 2000-0500 UTC daily. All data is expected to be recovered and made available by 0500 UTC, or sooner as automated data recovery transfers catch up. In addition, the GCOM community should note that these data are made available on a best effort basis and it should be considered as data of opportunity since timeliness of these data can not be guaranteed at present. OSPO Engineers will continue to respond to data transfer anomalies during normal business hours to ensure timely issuance of these data as workloads permit.
