Following today's test, network system corrections have been made to meet AWIPS DPI operational specifications. During the test period on January 8, the following pre-operational products will be produced at NESDIS and broadcast via the NWS Satellite Broadcast Network (SBN) to AWIPS sites: _SBN East Channel_ - Global Geostationary Composite (Vis, IR, and WV) - Hawaii National GOES Sounder DPI (CTP, ECA, SKT, and LI) - East CONUS Low Cloud Base DPI - Super National GOES Sounder DPI (CTP, ECA, SKT, LI, and PW) - Puerto Rico National Blended TPW - Puerto Rico National Blended TPW - Percent of Normal - Puerto Rico National Blended Rain Rate - Super National Blended TPW - Super National Blended TPW - Percent of Normal - Super National Blended Rain Rate _SBN West Channel_ - Hawaii National GOES Sounder DPI (CTP, ECA, SKT, and LI) - West CONUS Low Cloud Base DPI - Super National GOES Sounder DPI (CTP, ECA, SKT, LI, and PW) - Alaska National Blended TPW - Alaska National Blended TPW - Percent of Normal - Alaska National Blended Rain Rate - Hawaii National Blended TPW - Hawaii National Blended TPW - Percent of Normal - Hawaii National Blended Rain Rate Not affected by the change in the new AWIPS DPI production system, standard imagery products (e.g., ECONUS Vis) will also be sent via the operational NWS SBN data broadcast. AWIPS users are requested to monitor the DPI products listed above on your workstations during the test period. If any issues are observed in the pre-operational products, please report your findings to ESPC Operations at the contact information below. If product quality is validated, NESDIS plans to go fully operational with the new AWIPS DPI production system on January 14, 2015. ***Point of Contact for Further Information:***ESPC Operations at ESPCOperations@noaa.gov at 301-817-3880 *Web Site(s) for applicable information**:*http://www.data.jma.go.jp/mscweb/en/operation/bulletin_list.html You have been sent this and other notifications because you have opted in to receive it.
