Launch of the new User Notification Service (UNS):

The new UNS brings a number of functionality enhancements.
A four-week parallel operations phase with the old UNS is planned.
During this phase, UNS messages will be issued from both the new UNS
and the old UNS.

METEOSAT RSS

Monthly RSS interruption
Meteosat-9 Rapid Scanning Service (RSS) will be suspended for scheduled
Full Earth Scanning and Ground Segment Maintenance.
Meteosat-8 RSS image data, rectified to 9.5 deg E, replaces the
Meteosat-9 service. The RSS meteorological product service is not
available during this timeframe.
An outage of up to 15 minutes can be expected when switching to and
from Meteosat-8.

A short outage of all ASCAT products can be expected.

and regional winds products can be expected, during satellite passes
over Turkey.

SEM and GOME data will be unavailable.
A temporary degradation of the quality of GRAS Level 1 products is
to be expected starting at the time of the manoeuvre.
All AMSU-A, ASCAT, ATOVS, AVHRR, HIRS, IASI and MHS products may
have temporarily degraded quality geo-location data after the time
of the manoeuvre.

Update to ASCAT Level 2 Soil Moisture Products at 12.5 km and 25 km
swath grid.
The main change consists in implementing a new model parameter
database in the processing chain for Metop-A and B ASCAT soil moisture
products. Another change relates to the EPS native format available
from the EUMETSAT Data Centre.
