SAB will continue satellite support to the Weather Prediction Center (WPC) and satellite-based information from SAB may be integrated by WPC=E2=80=99s forecasters into th= eir MPDs (Mesoscale Precipitation Discussions). This transition is intended to provide a single source of centralized guidance on heavy rainfall and flash flood threats and ensure consistent message delivery.
