Update #2 ***SMD from SVL rev. 21842 was received nominally. DMR has
been unable to recover missing data from previous missed supports.
The
SMD data from previous supports was recovered nominally and is at
SVL we
are just unable to ingest into IDPS for processing at this time.
Engineering continues troubleshooting.*
Update #1 *No SMD was received from SVL rev. 21841 AOS 19:54 UTC. SMD
was recovered nominally at SVL but DHN fails to receive data from SVL
and forward to IDPS. All products impacted. Engineering continues to
troubleshoot.

*Details/Specifics of Change:* No stored mission data (SMD) was
received at the start of Svalbard rev 21840 AOS 18:11Z. SMD was not
being received and forwarded to IDPS from the NESDIS Data Handling Node
(DHN) following a DHN RAID battery change. The DHN domain processes
were stopped and restarted and IDPS began receiving data at 18:28Z
(IDPS missed approximately the first half of the SMD). The Data
Monitor
and Recovery (DMR) generated recovery requests and was recovering SMD
nominally until the DHN experienced another failure around 19:15Z
causing DMR recovery requests to stop.
Some data may not be transferred to users because it did not meet their
timeliness requirements.
