*Details/Specifics of Impact:* On December 4, 2015, the Japan
Meteorological Agency (JMA) stopped broadcasting the MTSAT-2 data in
parallel with the operational Himawari-8 data. However, recent queries
of the McIDAS Access Control List show that users are continuing to
access old MTSAT-2 data on the GEODIST7 server. On April 4, 2016 at
1400Z, NOAA/NESDIS will be deactivating the MTSAT-2/ McIDAS ADDE name
(MTS) to avoid potential problems with the unnecessary data pulls.
At your earliest convenience, please make changes to stop the
MTS/MTSAT-2 pulls, and if necessary, replace with the HIM/Himawari-8
data pulls.
