Details/Specifics of Change: The Arctic products
that are
generated in the ESPC GEOPROD4 include the 4-km Arctic composites
dataset with the coverage from 50 to 90°N latitude at the
bands of
Water Vapor, Infrared, longwave infrared, shortwave IR and
Visible. The products will improve operational forecasting
for the
North Pacific and North Atlantic from 50°N to 90°N for maritime
and aviation operations (Weather and Water, Local Forecast and
Warning, Commerce and Transportation). The products also will aid
in understanding weather patterns and phenomena, ultimately
improving forecasts.
