Subject: Product Outage/Data Delay:VMware host problem and application This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_XwUn9vZku5jIbdLVc0sAuQ) Content-type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT *Date/Time Issued: * June 13, 2016 1426Z *Product(s) or Data Impacted:* A wide range of products will be impacted. See list in details section below. *Date/Time of Initial Impact**:* June 13, 2016 1445Z *Date/Time of Expected End:* June 13, 2016 1645Z *Length of Outage: * Two hours. No data will be lost, just delayed. All data should be caught up by 1645Z. *Details/Specifics of Change:* An ESPC VMware host went into disconnect mode. All Virtual Machines contained on this host must be shutdown in order for a reboot of the VMware host to be performed in order to resolve the immediate problem. ESPC's primary production scheduling application is among the set of VMs contained on the VMware host. The scheduler will be brought down gracefully and all application jobs placed on hold status prior to the VMware host reboot. Following this fix, the scheduler will be brought back up and application processing will resume. No products will be lost, but production will be delayed for about approximately two hours.
