SARAL/AltiKa Satellite left its repetitive exact repeat orbit
Monday July 4, 2016. This decision was made by the data
providers CNES/ISRO due to reaction wheel issues. The Naval
Oceanographic Office (NAVO) is rapidly updating their Sea
Surface Height Anomaly (SSHa) software to turn AltiKa into a
non-repeat geodetic mission to minimize the Altika SSHa data
outage. As of July 12, there will be no more AltiKa SSHas
included as input in the generation of the operational
Satellite Ocean Heat Content (OHC) Suite of products
