Details/Specifics of Change:
A GOES-13 (GOES-East) Thruster Flush will be performed on
Tuesday,
August 23, 2016, at 1533 UTC. If cancelled, the Thruster Flush
will be rescheduled for a later date. If NWS Regions have any
operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301) 683-1500
at least 6 hours prior to the maneuver time.
On Tuesday, August 23, 2016 the following schedule will be
employed to support thruster Flush operations GOES-13
(GOES-East):
1533 UTC: GOES-13 (GOES-East) Thruster Flush Schedule begins
1533 UTC - 1544 UTC: GOES-13 (GOES-East) No Scan Operations
(THERE WILL BE NO IMAGER OR SOUNDER IMPACT due to the Thruster
Flush operations being performed during daily Housekeeping
period.)
1544 UTC: GOES-13 (GOES-East) Routine Scan Operations Resume
There will be no GOES-15 (GOES-West) Full Disk (30 minute)
Imaging
due to the outage being less than 15 minutes.
There will be no recovery schedule for this maneuver.
