The AIRS instrument experienced an anomaly at 0325Z 9/25/2016 and, since then, has not been producing science data. Level 0 files were being transferred to the AIRS processing system at OSPO, but these were not being processed as they were not identified as valid science mode data. At this time there are no updates on the status of the instrument. The AMSU-A2 instrument experienced a shut off at 1947Z 9/24/2016 and remains off at this time.
