SMOPS will be updated to included NOAA GCOM-W1 AMSR-2 and
near-real time SMOS soil moisture retrievals. This update is
applied to all SMOPS products disseminated through the ESPC Data
Distribution Server (DDS) and Shared Processing Gateway (DAPE).
Changes are expected to be transparent to users.
