Subject: FTP Connections Issues with ESPC Servers Issued: May 16, --94eb2c0b33eaa06f86054fa34c13 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" *Topic: *FTP Connections Issues with ESPC Servers *Date/Time Issued: * May 16, 2017 1228Z * Product(s) or Data Impacted:* All products pulled from DDS and SATEPSANON by users using passive FTP may be impacted. * Date/Time of Initial Impact: * May 15, 2017 1615Z * Date/Time of Expected End:* TBD * Length of Outage:* TBD * Details/Specifics of Change:* On Mon at about 1615Z, some users began experiencing connection errors when trying to connect to DDS and SATEPSANON with passive FTP. Users were able to connect when they use active FTP. This appears to be a network issue, and technicians are working to determine where the problem lies. Pull users should check their connections, switch to active at least temporarily, or do a manual pull of data, in order to avoid data loss. To help with our troubleshooting, if you have not already done so, please email ESPCOperations@noaa.gov and report if this problem is impacting your organization. *Contact Information for Further Information:* ESPC Operations at ESPCOperations@noaa.gov at 301-817-3880 <%28301%29%20817-3880> *Web Site(s) for applicable information:* N/A This message was sent by ESPC.Notification@noaa.gov.
