Subject: general-announcement
Detail: Due to technical issues on-board the Meteor-M N2 satellite, ROSHYDROMET cannot guarantee the data validity for the MTVZA-GY instrument. Since 15 August 2017, the calibration coefficients are outdated. The data flow on EUMETCast has not been interrupted, but whilst the data are unreliable, they should not be used for product processing or in NWP schemes. ROSHYDROMET is investigating the problem together with the instrument and platform manufacturers. [Rev. 2]: ROSHYDROMET has decided to switch off the MTVZA-GY instrument for now. The instrument is currently in maintenance mode, not making any measurements.
