GOES-14 is in storage mode but remains Earth pointing for operation of the XRS. The NOAA post launch science test took place from November 30, 2009 to January 4, 2010.

GOES-P was launched on March 4, 2010 and has reached geostationary orbit and was renamed GOES-15. The first visible image from GOES-15 arrived on April 6, 2010 and the first Infrared arrived on April 26, 2010. Check out the first images using the links below:
