REMARKS: THERE HAS BEEN A CONTINUOUS LOW LEVEL
PLUME OFF THE ISLAND FOR SEVERAL HOURS.  WE HAVE
BEEN UNABLE TO CONFIRM THE PRESENCE OF ASH. THE
PLUME HAS BEEN MOVING  SOUTH TOWARDS SAIPAN BUT
DISSIPATING BEFORE REACHING THE ISLAND. SAIPAN
TOWER REPORTS NO SULFUR SMELL OR REDUCED
VISIBLITY. THERE WAS A HOT SPOT NOTED IN IMAGERY
AT 1613Z.   ...
